Senator Rand Paul’s epic filibuster over whether the Obama administration has legal authority to order a drone strike on an American here in the homeland. I was one of the few liberals to support Sen. Paul on this particular issue, but I point out how domestic terrorism has been authorized by the U.S. government upon certain groups, most memorably in Waco and in Philadelphia.
Also, the “GOP Black Chick” forms a new PAC, called Conservative Melting Pot PAC. Republicans took staggering losses among Latinos, Asians. blacks, and women. Why hasn’t the RNC undertaken this initiative themselves? We take a few moments to laugh at their inadequacy.
Plus, we take some time to mark the loss of the Venezuelan President, Hugo Chavez.
